Ashara and I have come up with an idea for some episodic events.
What is an episodic event?
So this is an event that will carry over from week to week. Each week will have a winner and at the end of the event series, there will be an overall winner.
How are winners determined?
Winners will be selected on a weekly basis by who has won that week. The first place for the week will be awarded 5 points that will carry over to the following week. Second place will be awarded 4 points and third will be 3 points. If you finish, but don’t place, you’ll be awarded 2 points. All other participants will get 1 point. At the end of the event series (hopefully 8-13 weeks), we will add up all the points and the person with the most points wins!
What if I miss a week?
No worries! Because we are using a point based system where all participants are awarded points, you can miss a few events and not worry too much about the points (especially if you’re in the top 5).

Welcome to Sol’s Amazing Race - Tyria Edition!
Here’s how the event will work:

Each week we will be in a map in Central Tyria.

There will be objectives to complete in the map.

There will be a clue where to meet us at the end.

You will have to complete tasks or gather certain items based on the story for that map. (Will be announced at the beginning of the episode.)

The first person to show up at the end with the items/tasks complete will win for that week.

We recommend that you use a level 80 character, even if we are on a low level map. The reason for this is because not using a level 80 could put you at a disadvantage against the other participants.
How do I sign up?
Contact either Angel (AngelWriter.3652) or Ashara (Remaran.2963) before the event starts, or gather in the guild hall on Tuesdays an hour after daily reset when you see us gathering!
